It was right when we heard the beat switch up on AD’s “BLUE” music video that we realized we needed a classic West Coast playlist in our lives. If you remember correct, we mentioned the song sampled a Mack 10 track, which happened to be “Foe Life” with Ice Cube off that self-titled debut. We’re not even sure how many people actually knew that, but that’s the era of West Coast music we grew up with.
So we had to take it back to the essence and cooked up a playlist of 55 songs full of nothing but funk for that ass. 2pac, Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, Westside Connection, The D.O.C., Eazy E, E-40, Too $hort, Tha Dogg Pound, Dru Down, N.W.A., Cypress Hill, and Rappin 4 Tay.
What more can you ask for? Long live the classics.
So for everyone wanting to take it back to the ’90s for a second, hit the switches on that lowrider, turn the corner with the 3-wheel motion and let this one play through.
