We rarely see Ab-Soul without his shades on, due to suffering from Stevens–Johnson syndrome and having light-sensitive eyes. But for the cover of his new album Do What Thou Wilt., he was up to the challenge of taking his glasses off and baring it all for the people.
“A lot of anxiety for a couple hours, a lot of flash, but we caught it,” Soulo says about the image. “The photographer Chris I was working with he really wanted to capture the angst.”
