Mikky Ekko‘s rise to prominence has been far from a secret this year in terms of material, although his latest contribution to Active Child’s new offering comes across as somewhat unexpected. As you would assume, we’re provided with two completely opposite approaches to sound on “Subtle,” with the outcome turning out to be one of the better collaborations of the year, thanks to Mikky’s soaring vocals and Pat’s steadiness of new wave.
