As promised, Adele begins her next album campaign with the release of her new music video, “Hello.” Shot as the first visual in IMAX, the London artist doesn’t disappoint in her first single since 2011, with the help of fellow singer Mack Wilds starring as the male lead. Throughout the six-minute clip, we see the 20-something dealing with a previous relationship with her ex-boyfriend, who happens to force static in their loss of communication.
Coincidentally, the track has a similar dynamic to her real life childhood, as she’s dealt with the exit of her father since the age of two and isn’t receiving good reception on her end, even after the worldwide success.
