With the United States suffering racial tension and violence in the wake of Ferguson, Alicia Keys channels her feelings about the ills of the world today in new song “We Gotta Pray.” Although there has been no details about a new album, A. Keys has been more than inspired lately, starting a campaign around “We Are Here,” a positive tune that encourages more kindness for our fellow neighbors.
It’s good to hear she is bringing a message to her music, something that is becoming more scarce even in times like these.
