Damn, Aloe Blacc completely fell off the map musically in 2015, so much so that we didn’t even realize he put out a Christmas EP last month. Even though he’s back for this holiday season with some Santa spirited tunes, “Merry Christmas Mr. Brown” has a little more meaning behind it, as Aloe dedicates it to all the lives that were lost this year due to police brutality. Very heartwarming music.
