During 1996 when Tupac Shakur engaged in one of the biggest recording runs in the history of rap music, he made time to help ready the newest artist of Death Row Records, MC Hammer.
Much like the deceased rapper, he was an original Bay Area representative in LA to refresh his legendary career and linked up with Suge Knight after Dr. Dre’s departure from the company.
Our veteran readers should remember the video footage seen above of Pac penning and producing Hammer’s “Too Tight” single, from the same-titled album. Now, 20 years later, the official CDQ for the title-track has surfaced, which samples Ohio Player’s hit “Skin “Tight.”
