3 Stacks Talks Jimi Hendrix film, Personal Style & Race
Ahead of the remaining OutKast reunion tour dates, André 3000 took part in a 10-minute interview with Channel 4. The conversation mostly centred around Jimi Hendrix and his task of playing the iconic musician in the recent film, All Is By My Side. 3 Stacks spoke on being influenced by him since his early 20s in terms of sounds and visuals, and also feeling somewhat connected through musical stardom. For André, the real genius of Hendrix was his feeling, by being able to change his music depending on how he felt.
Still in relation to the film, Benjamin talked in-depth about musicians speaking out on race, and the fact that racism will slowly die out through generations.
