Frank Ocean – Solo (Reprise)
The amount of legendary artists credited for Frank Ocean’s Blonde is insane. The likes of The Beatles, Brian Eno, David Bowie, Jonny Greenwood were all listed in the credits for Frank’s long-awaited return, but it’s André 3000’s contribution that can be heard on the surface. “Solo (Reprise)” is essentially a 3 Stacks song on another artist’s album, and he came with a vengeance. His line “I was under the impression that everyone wrote they own verses” caught wide attention for referencing the ghostwriting controversy around Drake.
