Whole Lotta Spatial. . .
Apple Music Spatial Audio, Dolby Atmos available now, ending the long-standing wait for HiFi content. After years of waiting, Apple Music has finally launched Spatial Audio with Dolby Atmos this week. The new tech is FREE for any existing Apple Music subscriber, and will not require you to upgrade anything.
To enable Spatial Audio, you’ll have to go into your phone settings; then music and change Dolby Atmos to always on. It’s explained below in the first video, as well as how to enable HiFi Lossless music. The first albums supporting Spatial Audio, come from Ariana Grande, The Weeknd and Taylor Swift.
However, classic albums from 2pac, Biggie, DMX and Nas have been upgraded from standard to HiFi Lossless. Take a look at the breakdown below, including a special conversation with creators on Apple Music.
#SpatialAudio with #DolbyAtmos lets you hear sound all around you, and plays automatically for Apple Music subscribers when you listen with supported headphones and speakers.
To hear every detail, you can also turn on lossless audio in the Settings app. https://t.co/k8OSH0MJNs pic.twitter.com/T6d1AXaSCQ
