Last night happened to be the live airing of the first ever YouTube Music Awards, which was entirety directed by Spike Jonze. One of the many official music videos that were created was for Arcade Fire’s stunning single “Afterlife,” which was taken from their brand new album Reflektor. Known for their collaborations on work such as the Scenes From The Suburbs short film and the upcoming Her movie, the two parties came together once again with actress Greta Gerwig taking the leading role of performing backstage and eventually arriving into the awards ceremony itself.

Directed by Spike Jonze.
