Even at the peak of his career, Avant was slept on. He put out a handful of hits, but with R&B thriving in the early 2000’s, his musical contributions may have gone under the radar. Either way, the veteran singer is still putting out records, with his latest album being Can We Fall In Love. The 10-track effort only features Robert Glasper but finds him on that grown folks R&B, back to what made him the budding singer in the early 2000’s.
R&B heads will surely find more than a few songs worth listening to on here, that will quench the musical slow jams thirst.
