I’ve been supporting Azure for a while now and I can always appreciate the sincerity in his music. Although he’s affiliated with The HBK Gang, he keeps it true to himself, his sound and doesn’t try to be anything he really isn’t. You don’t see that type of shit every day. He appeals to a certain crowd, though. And whether you know it or not, it’s just a matter of time until people catch on to the wave.
For his newest drop, he links up with Clyde Shankle and Dayvid Michael to form Down 2 Earth. Another up and comer out of the bay, songstress Kehlani also blesses them with a heavenly hook on “Merlot.”
D2E’s forthcoming album Wildfire is due out later this month.
