The Obama’s 2015 Picks, Revealed
We all know Barack Obama has a bold taste in music. Back in August, the president shared two summer playlists for day and night, featuring music from Talib Kweli & Hi-Tek, The Temptations, Mos Def, The Isley Brothers, Beyoncé, Stevie Wonder, Justin Timberlake, Al Green, Lauryn Hill and Mary J. Blige to name a few.
With the year end lists rolling in, the president and first lady have some picks of their for 2015. Talking to PEOPLE magazine, Michelle Obama revealed that her favorite song of the year is from Mark Ronson’s Uptown Special, while her husband’s is a gem from Kendrick Lamar’s To Pimp a Butterfly.
In an exclusive interview with PEOPLE for a Campaign 2016 special feature in this week’s magazine, Michelle reveals she can’t get enough of “Uptown Funk” by Bruno Mars, while her husband says he’s all about Kendrick Lamar’s “How Much a Dollar Cost.”
Not a bad pick, Mr. Obama.
