BBC Launching Helpful Apple Music & Spotify Streaming Service

If you have either Spotify or Apple Music, BBC is a must have!

Over the last year, we’ve seen the music streaming wars turn into the equivalent of the “Crips vs. Bloods”, in an all-out fight on who can become victorious. From JAY Z launching his TiDAL music service last year, to Dr. Dre helming control of Apple Music’s with COMPTON, the competitive market for audio streaming has been a wait-and-see approach for many still deciding.

The UK entertainment broadcasting company is looking to launch a new music discovery service; which from the outside looking in, is competition to Apple Music and Spotify. However, unlike its competitors, BBC has made it clear that the service is being designed to complement other streaming services, where DJs (and users) can become curators in suggesting new music to listeners.

Another interesting note for the follow-up app to BBC Playlister, is that it will also include an array of live performances from its large library. At the present, the British Broadcasting Corporation has limited the service to just U.K. music listeners, but is looking to expand globally – pending success.
