Beats 1 Rebrands to Apple Music 1, Announces New Shows

Say goodbye to Beats 1 Radio starting today, because Apple Music is dropping the name. It is now rebranding its radio to Apple Music 1, dropping the former name that was inspired by Beats by Dre. Since its inception in 2015, Beats 1 grew to a major player in the streaming game, with shows by superstars like Drake, Travis Scott, DJ Khaled, The Weeknd and Frank Ocean.

To go with the announcement, the service also announced more stations.

Apple Music Hits will be playing major songs from the ’80s, ’90s and 2000’s, as well as Apple Music Country, which will highlight country music from today and the past.

The likes of Ciara, Meghan Trainor, Lady Gaga, J Balvin, Luke Bryan, Dierks Bentley, Carrie Underwood, and more will all have new shows soon.

If you’re an Apple Music subscriber, peruse on over to the app and start exploring what they have on deck with the rebrand.
