Ricky Bell, Michael Bivins, and Ronnie DeVoe make up the legendary group Bell Biv DeVoe. It has been 16 years since their last album (BBD), but their big break through was in the early ’90s with Poison. Now, the trio have released a new album Three Stripes to try to recapture their magnificent run and connect with the new generation of R&B listeners.
The album only features Boyz II Men, SWV and Doug E. Fresh, so it’s full of nostalgia. Either way, BBD should rally some of the old fans and maybe even some of the young bulls of today.
