The talk of New Orleans (even more than the Super Bowl) was Queen Beyoncé stepping on the stage for the halftime show at today’s big game. We were hoping that Jay-Z joined her on stage, but Bey still did amazing on her own, shaking her jelly all over the stage. Things really kicked up a notch with Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams joined her on stage for the Destiny’s Child part of her set, performing various hits from their catalog.
Beyoncé herself, performed numerous tracks, including “Crazy In Love,” “End Of Time” and “Baby Boy” (the screen behind her was crazy), then ending with “Halo.”
When it was all said and done, many dubbed the performance as the Beyoncé Bowl, even prompting Jay-Z to send out a tweet about how his wife shut it down so bad that the lights cut off at the start of the 3rd quarter. We’re still waiting to hear word from the NFL to see what the exact cause of the outage was, but we can definitely say Bey dominated.
