Exactly a year ago, Big K.R.I.T. announced he was a free agent from the majors and would be dropping something very soon – on his terms. Well, after taking the bulk of 2017 to find himself as a person, the Mississippi rapper returned to the Breakfast Club this week to speak on that period.
While discussing 4Eva Is a Mighty Long Time, Krizzle opened up on his unfortunate battle with alcoholism, citing he’s slowed down in comparison to recent years. While still facing that addiction, he also touched on finding himself spiritually, and even fixed his health in the process as well.
K.R.I.T. also went to explain the meaning behind his double-disc album. He cited having trunk-rattlers for long-time listeners as K.R.I.T.; but wanted the public to get more introspective content under his real persona, Justin Scott. Take a look below at his entire Breakfast Club interview.
