Classic tunes
We’re suckers for 90’s R&B, so we could spot this Blackstreet cover from a mile away, but we know some of you reading this probably aren’t as well-versed in that department. Luckily, BJ The Chicago Kid is here to put the new generation on to the smooth sounds of the golden era, with his acoustic rendition of “Before I Let You Go.” The original is taken from the group’s 1994 self-titled album and is a staple in any baby making playlist. You know, before the “No Diggity” fame.
BJ wasn’t hitting the high notes like the crew, but he still did his thing for this version.
This won’t be found on the up and comer’s In My Mind due out at the top of 2016, but he’s got plenty of original material on there to satisfy your R&B cravings.
