We hope everyone’s weekend is more chill now that Summer is winding down. We don’t know about you, but we usually take this time out to turn off from the normal Rap that we hear on an every day basis and zone out to some different shit if we’re in the crib. You should always take the time out to listen to something new that might not be in your range of genres because it makes for a better musical range as a fan. Right?
Thanks to Black Scale, we now have the mix to bump on this Saturday, as they take it back to The Jazz Age and beyond, with artists such as John Coltrane, Miles Davis, Thelonious Monk and many others. They had some gems in here (songs we hadn’t even heard of before this), but just know this precedes the time even our grandparents were around and dates back as far back as the 1930’s.
The next edition needs some Dizzy Gillespie and Ella Fitzgerald.
