Much like his 2002 directorial Garden State, Zach Braff’s forthcoming Wish I Was Here film takes a strong focus on the soundtrack, which includes a bunch of new material from his favorite artists. Despite Justin Vernon being on a hiatus from his Bon Iver persona, we’re provided with a brand new track titled “Heavenly Father.
The motion picture, starring the likes of Josh Gad, Donald Faison, Kate Hudson, Jim Parsons and Braff himself, will be in theaters on July 18th, while the soundtrack is out July 15th with music from The Shins, Cat Power, Paul Simon, Coldplay and others.
