After a successful 2014 with his debut Thirst 48 project, Boogie recently broke down his roots and influences on his career. He talks about spending time between Long Beach and Compton, first rapping when he was 15, listening to Lauryn Hall, Erykah Badu and Kendrick Lamar, and the inspiration behind his mixtape. Boogie’s next project, The Reach, will be another concept release.
