Only a day after celebrating his 25th birthday, A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie (real name J. Dubose) has run into problems with the law. According to NBC New York, A Boogie was charged with one count of unlawful possession of a handgun and one count of possession of marijuana after detectives searched his home in New Jersey.
During the search, police found four guns, including a Glock .40 caliber handgun, a Ruger .380 handgun, a Smith & Wesson 9mm and a H&K 9mm handgun. They also found hash oil edibles, drug paraphernalia and marijuana.
The Bronx rapper was taken into custody, alongside his bodyguard and his manager.
Each has counts on them based on the investigation and will be awaiting their day in court. They were all released on their own recognizance.
