Chance The Rapper‘s “No Problem” was easily one of the biggest singles of 2016, and the 2 Chainz and Lil Wayne-featured track was rewarded with the Grammy for Best Rap Performance last month.
The producers behind the song, Brasstracks, recently caught up with Genius to break down the instrumental. They explain how the collaboration came about and the making of the hip-hop gospel song itself, which is inspired by Kanye West Late Registration-era production. “I never thought there was a possibility of a Grammy,” they said. “We all kind of lost our minds. I don’t think anyone expected that.”
