Don’t ask us how, but we caught Breakbot on Apple Music a week or two ago, browsing through the new music of the week playlist they have. “Get Lost” was the song that was on there and it sounded a little like what we’ve heard from Skylar Spence or Tuxedo this year. Maybe a tad more pop than them. Either way, it was enough to get us interested.
The video for the single is highly entertaining, piecing together a collage of GIFs that tell the story of a wedding that almost happened, until evidence of extra curricular activities (on the part of the wife), ruined the big day. Hopefully the way the scenes replay over and over, sometimes out of order, doesn’t annoy you much because there’s some gems. Like the guy getting punched (guaranteed most loops) or the young’n with the swoop in the 9th inning. Classic.
