As fans of Alabama Shakes, we were surprised to hear Brittany Howard was releasing a new album. Her second single off Jaime is definitely what made us fans of her band/group, and the video for the track is just as entertaining. In “Stay High,” Terry Crews stars as the protagonist, as he finishes a work shift in Howard’s hometown of Athens, Alabama. As he goes from leaving work to the grocery store and on his drive home, everything about the clip plays out like instruments and background vocals for the song. There are subtle clues that you have to keep an eye out for too.
