D.C. rhymesmith Cal Rips has finally dropped off his newest project, titled District of Corruption. It’s a potent, six-track EP that delves into the mindset and experiences of Cal and his life in the district of corruption. It holds features some Matt McGhee, Miles Meraki and Beya Likhari, who all lend complementary verses/vocals that round out this project nicely. Cal’s raw style of rapping meshes seamlessly with the eclectic production on this joint, all adding up to a cohesive project and a good listen.
