Chance The Rapper has announced that he’ll be donating $1 million to mental health services in Chicago. As part of the donation, six mental wellness providers will receive $100,000 grants each. His nonprofit SocialWorks has also announced ‘My State of Mind,’ an initiative specifically for mental health resources in Cook County, Illinois.
This isn’t the first time Chance has donated a sum of this stature. Just last year, he donated $2.2 million in new funding for Chicago public schools.
