Shortly before the release of Chance The Rapper‘s new Coloring Book project, we saw a track called “Grown Ass Kid” surface. At the time, we assumed it was just a leak from the project, so we waited for the whole thing to surface. Now that Chance’s third mixtape had been released, there’s no sign of it on the 14-track body of work. So, here we are.
Uploaded by Nascent to his SoundCloud, the loose track “Grown Ass Kid” finds Chance The Rapper teaming up with fellow Chicago emcees Mick Jenkins and Alex Wiley. Nascent produced the song with Cam O’Bi, which has additional work from the likes of Eryn Allen Kane, Donnie Trumpet and Peter Cottontale.
