Cheers to ‘Surf’ one year later!
This weekend marks the one-year anniversary Chance the Rapper and The Social Experiment’s Surf project. While parties are yet to announce a follow-up effort to the well-received album, the camp teased fans more material last Halloween with their “Juke or Treat” release. That continues today, as Donnie surprises listeners with the nearly 11-minute presentation of “The First Time.”
With Chano only a few days removed from the release of Coloring Book, the group is touting this is a collection of unused Surf pieces – an ode to the era. We’re sure many of you will be revisiting their debut after listening to the lengthy cut above, as well as new listeners getting it from iTunes.
