There’s no one out there quite like Channel Tres. The Compton artist’s music is hard to pinpoint, but it lies somewhere between hip-hop (vocals) and house (production). Unlike others who have tried this somewhat, Tres just seems completely authentic and knows exactly what he’s doing.
This week, he’s back with a video for his song “Topdown,” taken from his debut self-titled EP. It’s directed by Anthony Sylvester, and finds Tres hanging out with friends in California, and of course, rolling with the top down.
