Dating back to 2018, Troi ‘Star’ Torain broke this original story, interviewing a woman by the name of Jessica Reid. She is claiming sexual allegations against Lenard ‘Charlamagne’ McKelvey, dating back to 2001, when she was only 15. Star cited that he only took the interview with Ms. Reid, because she wasn’t trying to sue Charlamagne tha God and only wanted to help get her story out.
Last week, when Kwame Brown was responding to everyone, he felt was the enemy in media, Charlamagne jumped into the fire and mentioned the father of Kwame having a criminal past. Shockingly, this led to Kwame bringing up those same allegations on his growing platform, giving more light to the original story Star broke.
Now, over the weekend, Funk Flex double downed on the Kwame message, and used the ‘r’ live on air. According to Queenzflip, Charlamagne tha God is reportedly suing Hot 97 and Funk Flex, which is believed to be for defamation of character. However, we find it hard to believe that it’ll stick in court, considering everything that’s been said on air by him.
