It’s tough to watch this video by Charles Bradley, mostly because the man isn’t here to witness the impact he had as an artist. His old school sound and vocals hit us in the mouth since the very first single we heard and we couldn’t help but to empathize with his story — one which took decades to come to fruition.
On November 9, Charles will be releasing a posthumous album titled Black Velvet, with “I Feel A Change” being the first single from the project. The video shows Charles backstage, right before hopping on stage to do his thing. As sad as it is to watch, it’s a joy to see him live out his dream and enjoy it while he was still on this earth.
