Syd Tha Kyd and Matt Martians stopped by the KEXP studio for Street Sounds as the two performed several hits they’re recorded including “They Say,” “Partners in Crime,” “Give It Time,” and “Web of Me.” The two briefly touch on their origins with Matt moving to Atlanta in 2011 which the two finished their debut album “Purple Naked Ladies” within 7 months. The Internet speaks on the creation of their name which came from Left Brain, their influences, Syd’s earlier engineering in the early OF days and newer fans of the group not liking their music (vice versa) and more.
