One of our favorite albums of the year is undoubtedly Chet Faker‘s debut Built On Glass. For an official remix of the lead single “Talk Is Cheap,” it was only right that fellow Australian artist Ta-ku took charge of the track, who is perfect at setting the tone for those low light, late night moments. Removing much of the vocals might sound like a bad thing, but the producer manages to chop and screw the shaping melodies in order to find the overall sound on the new version.
