Over the summer, Childish Gambino held a private premiere event for PHAROS, to present fans with new content for the first time in two years. Those who didn’t attend the event, heard glimpses of material throughout season one of his new FX dark-comedy series, Atlanta, as Donald Glover shied away from putting out any singles. With season one of the show coming to an end last Tuesday, information has emerged that indicates he could be dropping a project next month.
According to fan, who went to an FYE yesterday, the retailer had a promotional chalk board on display, listing out fourth quarter releases that will conclude 2016. However, one stand-out project on the board, was Donald’s Awaken, My Love album, currently scheduled for a release date of December 2nd. With Amazon International and All Music both listing out the date on their websites, it looks like this photo is confirming that Childish will be releasing his first album in over three years.
