You may not know much about Chris Dave, but his drum work has shown up on various album across decades. Adele, Maxwell, D’Angelo, Mint Condition, Robert Glasper, Anderson .Paak and Justin Bieber are just some of the names that he’s worked with. He’s putting out his own album titled Radio Show as Chris Dave and the Drumhedz and for the effort, Chris put together a Top Dawg Entertainment collaboration from the music gods, one that we’re surprised hasn’t happened sooner. SiR and Anna Wise sound right at home on the track together. God bless them both.
The track starts off a bit left field, but once you hear that soul kick in, you’ll probably want to run it back as soon as it finishes.
