The Roots – Rising Up (feat. Wale & Chrisette Michele)
Just over a year before Chrisette released her second album Epiphany, the singer had the opportunity to work with one of the greatest hip-hop bands to date. Next to performances from Black Thought, Wale and Questlove, Michele took up the role of completing the chorus for “Rising Up” towards the end of The Roots’ eighth album Rising Down.
