One of our good friends is real into Chromeo, and while we couldn’t get jiggy with their music as much, we checked this new one out off the strength. “Over Your Shoulder” turned out to be a funky tune inspired by the ’70s a bit, with that new age feel to it that almost reminds us of Mayer Hawthorne a little bit. The single will be found on the upcoming album White Women due out later this year.
Even though Summer is winding down, this has that type of vibe.
