If you were looking for fun in the sun out in Indio, CA for Coachella, you’re going to have to wait until 2021. Following rumors last month that the festival would be cancelled, Goldenvoice (the promoter for Coachella and Stagecoach) announced today that the event has been canceled thanks to county and state restrictions because of the COVID-19 pandemic.
In a statement on social media, the festival announced that they plan on returning in April 2021 with a new lineup. If you copped a pass this year, it will be honored for next year or you can get a refund for what you already paid for.
Specifically, Coachella (Weekend 1) will go down April 9-11, with week two following April 16-18.
