Truthfully, the fact Cole Beasley released a rap single is comical. The Dallas Cowboys aren’t in the playoffs anymore, so it makes sense. He ain’t got shit to do. Then you press play and realize he’s actually going in. So much, we ran it back to make sure.
“80 Stings” is Beasley’s new single from an upcoming album he’s putting together on Cold Nation records and as you’d expect, he’s got some football references in the mix (he name drops Jerry Jones and Dak Prescott in his lines). There’s no hook, just rapping one long ass verse, but he got busy. Just wait until the flow switches up and he speeds it up. It’s safe to say he pleasantly surprised us.
He’s speaking his future into existence too. He says labels are going to want to sign because of the bars. We’ll have to wait and see if any labels come knocking.
