This year marks the 20th anniversary of Cormega’s critically-acclaimed project, The Realness. Last year, we saw him reunite with Nas, AZ, Foxy Brown and Dr. Dre for Full Circle.

While we believe an EP from the Firm with Hit-Boy would be serious for the culture, it’s been quiet from the Gotham legends. This week, Mega took to social media to reveal he’s been in the studio working on new music. He specifically said he’s readying a part 2 to his R U MY NIGGA song, citing that all the work he’s been crafting feels really good.

While he’s not jumping out the gate to call his upcoming work The Realness 2, we’re hoping that Mega drops something this year. Let us know in the comments what you think.

Cory McKay, better known by his stage name Cormega, is an American rapper and songwriter. His first musical debut was sparked by a shout-out from Nas on his song “One Love”, from the critically acclaimed Illmatic album during Cormega’s time in prison.
