Last weekend with the unveiling artwork of the upcoming mixtape by Curren$y & Wiz Khalifa entitled Live In Concert; behind the scenes here at OnSMASH, we were very ecstatic in finally getting the sequel to the timeless How Fly mixtape after a 3 year wait. Sadly yesterday on twitter, Spitta and Wiz both announced their sequel mixtape would have to be delayed due to sample clearing issues.
With some mixtape artist even getting hit with lawsuits for copyright infringement, these two emcees are taking the due diligence process route to avoid the same fate making sure they have every sampled cleared for the release of Live In Concert.
Both emcees went on to assure us not be concerned with the recent delay announcement as they were already working with lawyers into taking the necessary steps to release their project as soon as possible for us. The bright side of this whole situation will be us getting the real album instead of replacement tracks. The Stoned Immaculate and Cigarette Boats EP have been in regular rotation here (and hopefully your music devices as well) as both should be enough to hold us over until Live In Concert.
