DaBaby Apologizes for Insensitive HIV/AIDS Comments Made at Rolling Loud

DaBaby has been receiving a handful of backlash since the weekend, not only because of surprise guests during his Rolling Loud performance, but because of comments he made during his set.

Following him bringing Tory Lanez on stage, he also had remarks that were insensitive.

“If you didn’t show up today with HIV, AIDS, or any of them deadly sexually transmitted diseases, that’ll make you die in two to three weeks, then put your cellphone lighter up! Ladies, if your p—y smell like water, put your cellphone lighter up! Fellas, if you ain’t sucking di– in the parking lot, put your cellphone lighter up!”

Dua Lipa, Elton John and more have come out and slammed the rapper for what was said, saying they stand by the LGBT community and need to do their part in erasing the stigma and ignorance surrounding HIV and AIDS.

DaBaby is now responding to all of the negativity and backlash on social media, saying he is sorry for the insensitive comments but not for anything else.

He finished things off by promoting some live shows this week too.

You can read the extent of his apology and what he had to say about brands, the LGBT community and how people have taken his comments out of context.
