The Return of D’Angelo
While some have dismissed the chances of a new D’Angelo project in 2014, others could be rewarded for their patience next week. The Virginia native’s long-awaited third album, Black Messiah, is set to be released on Tuesday.
News of his first LP in 14 years broke out after manager Kevin Liles posted a teaser earlier today, but now further evidence of physical copies and posters support the expected December 16th release. A private listening session will be held in New York this Sunday, hosted by Nelson George.
