The debut goes down in less than 2 weeks
It’s hard to believe but D’Angelo has never been on Saturday Night Live in his entire career. Well, thanks to his new album Black Messiah with The Vanguard, his dream will come true. Considering he’s been on major hiatus (his last TV appearance was on BET in 2012), this will be a good chance for him to re-introduce himself to a legion of new fans as well as core fans from before and show them why his album is worth a listen.
Joining him as host will be Golden Globe winner J.K. Simmons.
