Danger Mouse: An Experimental Journey

The Black Keys – Mind Eraser

If we had to choose a critical factor of why The Black Keys won the Best Rock Album at the 2013 Grammy Awards, we’d have to mention Danger Mouse’s inclusion on the record. El Camino was undoubtedly one of the biggest overall efforts from 2011 as a whole, which also allowed them to win the Best Rock Performance at the same event and peak at number two on the Billboard 200. The album focuses on a heavy blues rock influence from to bottom, yet allowing the sound to be approachable by a mainstream audience at the same time. “Mind Eraser” was the signal of a memorable ending to the body of work.
