Daye Jack is keeping up the music videos from his latest EP, Surf the Web, which dropped back in September. While he was busy partying in the Los Angeles sun in “Deep End,” his latest visual for “Bullshit” is quite the opposite. In the black and white, David Gallardo-directed clip, Daye Jack is dancing simply alongside a girl in a studio space.
“We wanted to take the things we see in a standard rap video, like the ‘cute girl’ and the straightforward performance footage, and challenge that,” he says about the clip. “Like, fuck the ‘cool kid.’ Anybody can get in front of the camera and be themselves, and be the new cool.”
Jack ain’t about that bullshit.
