Artist: Daye Jack
Song: “Finish Line”
Album: TBA
Director: David Gallardo
Daye Jack has consistently been releasing music since his Soul Glitch project came out last year; his most notable being the collaboration with Killer Mike on “Hands Up” which addressed police brutality. Now, he’s back with a video for his song “Finish Line.” Directed by David Gallardo, the new visual brings Daye Jack back to high school for a bit of athletics training and pairs up nicely with the motivational theme in the lyrics.
Daye actually sounds similar to Theophilus London in the verses and channels some trademark Pharrell with the hook.
